Because we do help and trust me: if you help, it will make you feel great!
But wait, how does Stiletto actually help anybody?
Well, I am sure that you have ever heard this sentence before: “Beli tissue, kak!” And I am also sure that you have ever felt bad for the children who have to walk around campus and work instead of going to school. Have you ever bought these tissues just because you wanted to help them? I did, but I know exactly that this did not even help them in any way. The ones who get the money in the end are their parents anyway. But now we from Stiletto want to support them in a more useful way. Stiletto works together with Rumah Baca FISIP to provide them with a proper education and make it possible for them to have a bright future!
Why is it that we want to help?
Because we think that it is wrong to leave these children alone. What we believe in is a life in harmony in which everyone has the same chances of success. That’s why our event is all about being social & doing charity. All our profits will be donated & used for the sake of the children!
Okay, sounds good. But what is it that makes Stiletto special? Aren’t there many events that claim to help people? Aren’t there many charity events every day?
Oh yes! For sure there are many and that’s a good thing! But let me tell you this: It will be difficult to find an event with a unique mix of culture, social, education and charity in a similar way like Stiletto!
Well, I can see that social & culture are the concepts of the Stiletto-mix, but where exactly are education and culture….?
That’s a good question! We from Stiletto strongly belief in the Indonesian value of unity in diversity and that’s why we want to let you experience cultures from all around Indonesia! Each of the bands participating in our band contest has to choose one song related to any of the incredibly diverse Indonesian cultures and perform it on the day of our event!
As the international class we want to promote the internationalization of education in Indonesia because we believe that a good education of the people will help the country grow. In our bazaar there will be chance for you to get information about education, particularly in Australia which is the partner country of our international class. Stiletto will work together with several agencies who will happily give you all the information you need to get a world-class education! Take this chance and you will not only have the honour to be a representative of Indonesia in Australia, but you will also become a successful leader in the future and support Indonesia on its way to success!
